Power supply LED Tube and technical training program selection

In the design of LED Tube lighting in general, there are two driving modes: linear conductors and switching-type drive.
LED Tube
Application of linear drive is one of the simplest and most direct drive applications. White LED Tube applications in lighting, but there is a low efficiency and poor regulation, but because its circuit is simple, compact, capable of certain events more often used.

Drivers can get a precise breakdown of good current regulation and high overall efficiency, application methods can be divided into two categories, Buck and boost. Buck driver to pass the LED Tube supply voltage higher than the voltage of the terminal or more LED Tube drivers with the case of parallel applications. Boost switch drivers for the LED Tube supply voltage is lower than the voltage in series or multiple LED Tube driver if the application uses.

Present the basic design of general lighting LED Tube driver is relatively easy, but if you have other functions such as phase dimming and power factor correction (PFC) need, the design is more complicated. LED Tube driver includes a back-end architecture with a short-circuit the control circuit current protection. Linear regulator circuit can be used to achieve this goal, however, this method is inherently inefficient to be applied as a low current output, usually on the multi-level structure is wrong. Alternative is the use of simple, than a function of current feedback circuit Buck, the output current of the desired LED Tube current. Offset the total voltage of LED Tube with temperature and changes in component tolerances, but also the limitations of short circuit or other disturbances, the current, which can help protect the drive against damage.
